How do I create an account?
Open Stride and follow the onboarding flow. You'll create an account with your email and password in step 5, then choose your @username. If you already have an account, tap "Sign in" on the account step.
How do I add an accountability partner?
Go to the Social tab and search for your partner by their @username. Tap their profile, then send an invite. They'll need to accept it before you can see each other's progress. You can also share an invite link directly.
Can I use Stride without a partner?
Absolutely. Stride works great solo — you get the daily momentum score, goal tracking, habit streaks, and Live Activity features without needing a partner. You can add one anytime you're ready.
How does the daily score work?
Your momentum score is a percentage from 0-100% based on how many of your habits and tasks you've completed today. Check off a habit and the score updates instantly. It resets each morning.
How do I enable the Live Activity on my Lock Screen?
Go to Settings in the app and toggle on Live Activity. Your score, streak, and habits will appear on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. It updates every time you check off a habit.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Data → Delete Account. This clears all local data immediately and permanently deletes your server-side data (goals, habits, partner connections) within 30 days.
Is Stride free?
Yes. Stride is completely free with no paywalls, premium tiers, or in-app purchases. All features are available to everyone.
Is Stride available on Android?
Not yet. Stride is currently iOS only (requires iOS 17+). We're exploring Android in the future — stay tuned.
My notifications aren't working.
Make sure notifications are enabled in both the Stride app (Settings → Notifications) and in your iPhone's system settings (Settings → Stride → Notifications). If you're missing partner nudges, check that your partner has your correct @username.
